Google Plus for SEO

Nov 23, 2015 | SEO, Social Media | 0 comments

If you’re anything like me, you’ve got an account on every social media platform known to man – and that includes personal profiles and multiple business profiles!  So with that said, if you’ve gotten around to creating either a personal profile and/or business page in Google Plus you’re probably wondering what all the fuss is with Google Plus.  Ok, granted it’s not yet quite a platform for heavy social engagement between friends, but rather flooded with information sharing and marketers.  So because you’re not getting many +1’s, comments or shares with your posts related to your business, does that mean you should give up your efforts on Google Plus?  Hell no! Ok, ok, I hear you thinking “well what’s the point then?”.

I’ll give you three capital letters, S.E.O.

That’s why you should 1. either get your arse on Google Plus NOW, and/or 2. start and continue to post whether you get engagement or not.  The trick here is to

use as many descriptive keywords as possible in all your posts related to your business, including hashtags as well.

Google, of course, is going to favour in high regard any Google Plus business pages and Google Plus posts in all of their searches if your post includes the search keyword. So get Googling, and I’ll see you in a search somewhere someday.
